#Memories. While taking a trip down memory lane with her BFF Jonathan Cheban in a video posted to her website, Kim Kardashian admitted that she liked all the attention when she first rose to fame.
“When I was living on Robertson [Boulevard], it was like paparazzi central,” the Selfish author, 35, recalled of the days when she hung out with Paris Hilton and carried monogrammed Louis Vuitton. “I was living right behind Kitson, and every time I’d go to the gym or go eat, every paparazzi would ask me questions and I would be like, ‘Hey, guys!’ Like, I so wanted the attention.”
Cheban, who met Kardashian at mutual pal Brittny Gastineau’s birthday almost 10 years ago, revealed he had to reel Kardashian in.
“She was doing walking interviews!” said 42-year-old Cheban, who used to run CommandPR. “I was like, ‘What are you doing?!'”
“Jonathan was like, ‘This has got to stop. Do you think Victoria Beckham sits and does all these interviews?’” Kardashian added. “[He said,] ‘Do you think everyone else has smiles on their faces? You are too happy, you are smiling way too much. Put your sunglasses on. You need a whole makeover and you need to stop talking and stop smiling.'”
Cheban also told the reality star to ditch her white Range Rover.
“If you knew what went on in our inner talkings, you guys would die,” said the social media maven, who is now married to Kanye West, referring to their embarrassing conversations about how to be cool.
