Kim Kardashian’s Paris Robbery: Inside the ‘No Address Hotel’

The Hôtel de Pourtalès in Paris, remained, for the most part, a mystery before Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint on Monday, October 3.

As previously reported, Kardashian, 35, was staying at the apartment, which Kanye West owns, when a group of men entered the residence and stole more than $10 million worth of jewelry and two iPhones from her. She was tied up and locked in the bathroom during the ransack but was “physically unharmed,” according to her rep.

In the aftermath, the mom of two flew to New York on a private jet. She reunited with West and the two drove to their apartment downtown with a 15-car motorcade and security in tow.

The Hôtel de Pourtalès is a home away from home for Kardashian and West, 39. The pair famously stayed there in May 2014 during their pre-wedding celebrations. The historic building was built in 1839 and includes nine apartments. It is owned by young entrepreneur Alexandre Allard.

The discreet building is a favorite for other stars too. According to Billboard, notable customers who’ve paid the hefty price tag include Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Madonna, Mick Jagger and the late Prince. Some of the smaller rooms can go for $1,680 a night, whereas the 3,700-square-foot penthouse is estimated at $16,900 a night. Customers also have the option to use the private entrance from the underground parking lot.

“She’s been popping in and out all the time during Fashion Week,” a cafe employee from across the street tells Us. “It’s always the same drill – a people carrier with dark windows turns up, along with the paparazzi and then we see here.” Per Billboard, the lavish establishment is so secretive that it doesn’t even have its own website.

What it does have is a presence in town. It has a distinctive red door, black balconies and high-ceiling architectural murals, and it is surrounded by hot spots like Paris Fashion Week hangout Caviar Kaspia.
