An emotional roller coaster! Kim Zolciak broke down in tears backstage on Tuesday, Nov. 24, on the Dancing With the Stars Season 21 finale show, after returning to the program following her terrifying health scare.
The 37-year-old missed her twins Kaia and Kane's second birthdays in order make an appearance on the show's last episode, returning for a final dance after her health forced her to be cut from the show back in September.
Sharing her emotional post-performance moment with fans via Instagram, Zolciak captioned her video clip "Thank you GOD!!!!" and expressed how lucky she felt to be healthy and able to return to the show.
"Why are you crying?" a voice is heard asking the Don't Be Tardy star as she puts her head in her hands after her performance.
"It was a crazy moment. I was like, 'Oh my god, I am so blessed to be here,'" she answers. "There's no words."
Zolciak reteamed with her dance pro partner, Tony Dovolani, for a performance of an I Dream of Jeannie-themed samba, the same dance she was due to perform before being hospitalized for a series of mini-strokes.
As the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum revealed during an appearance on Good Morning America in October, following her strokes it was discovered she suffered from a heart condition, which led to her receiving heart surgery.
