Purrfect production! Gone Girl just got a seriously cute reinvention with the help of some feline friends.

Where Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike once stood as Nick and Amy Dunne, kittens are now crawling, thanks to The Pet Collective. The animal enthusiasts gave the critically acclaimed blockbuster thriller an adorable new look, releasing "GONE GIRL (Cute Kitten Version)" on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

Promoted as a new offering from "Unipurrsal Pictures," the two-minute clip shows cats reenacting the murder-mystery/toxic marriage plot outlined in Gillian Flynn's best-selling 2012 novel Gone Girl

"GONE GIRL has just gone kittens!" The Pet Collective writes. "You've never seen a cuter version of your adult psychological thriller... based on a book!"

Set to spooky music, the kitten Gone Girl trailer puts a feline spin on lines from the movie, opening with the words, "You're probably the most hated cat in America right now. Did you let your wife out of the front door?"

Kitty Nick Dunne is then shown being questioned about his wife's disappearance as Kitty Amy Dunne reads in a breathy voice from her diary and leaves clues for her husband's "mouse hunt."
