Forgive and forget. Kyle Richards hung out with sister Kathy Hilton on Christmas Eve, despite their recent feuding, and shared a snap of their reunion on Instagram.
“Twas the night before Christmas…” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 46, captioned the pic with Hilton, 56, dressed in elegant festive attire. The photo, which also featured pal Faye Resnick, was taken at Kris Jenner's annual holiday party on Thursday, December 24.
The half sisters have not been getting along, and a source told Us last week that it was due in large part to their husbands’ competing businesses. Hilton’s husband, Rick, was unhappy with Richards’ spouse, Mauricio Umansky, after he left Hilton & Hyland to start his own real-estate firm, the Agency.
“Rick thinks Mauricio has created too much of a competition by breaking off with his own real-estate business,” an insider explained to Us on December 16. “And Kyle won’t be anywhere near Rick and Kathy without her husband, understandably, so every family gathering is full of tension.”
Recent episodes of RHOBH have also revealed trouble over Kathy's daughter Nicky Hilton's wedding, which took place in London in July. Richards and one of her daughters were invited, while her husband and other children were not.
Despite reuniting on Christmas Eve, Richards was a no-show at her sister’s annual holiday bash earlier this month because of all the drama.
“Kyle skipped the party because Mauricio wasn’t invited,” the source explained. “Kathy has always treated Kyle like a little sister and Kyle is just over it.”
