She's back, mom! Kylie Jenner retreated to Kris Jenner's home in Calabasas, California, after the news of her split from Tyga went public. The single-again star of Keeping Up With the Kardashians bared her soul via Snapchat on Wednesday, May 11, sharing her thoughts about love and more in a vulnerable, unguarded moment at her mother's home.
Kylie, 18, kicked off her solo evening by giving fans a look inside her childhood bedroom and bathroom. "Do any of you OGs remember my old bedroom?" she asked viewers. "I think I'm gonna be in here for a few days. I miss it. … It's so cute how many of you remember my old room! And the pictures and the dead flowers. I don't know, I just love this room. I feel like it has so many memories."
She then settled for some television and stumbled upon Disney's Camp Rock, starring Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers. "I actually wasn't watching this, but now, I think I'm gonna." The lip kit queen then ventured to her mom's famous entryway and shared on Snapchat that she didn't give her momager a warning that she was home.
"She's out of town, no big deal?" Kylie said as she raided her mom's refrigerator and walk-in pantry. Kris' pre-planned meals included several prepackaged plates of lettuce and two sides of dressing. "Not that I can't order the matzo ball soup by myself. I just get bad anxiety when I talk to people on the phone who I don't know … My mommy's gonna kill me."
Us Weekly confirmed on Thursday, May 12, that she and Tyga had broken up again. A source told Us that the on-again, off-again pair split in early May. Added a second source: "Kylie and Tyga are not speaking right now."
Instead, she spoke to her big sister Khloé Kardashian via Snapchat on Wednesday night — and posted snippets from their convo. "And, I don't know. I love really hard," Kylie said at one point. "I think that is enough from me for Snapchat tonight."
While Kylie was at Kris' home, Tyga stopped by the Jue Lan Club in NYC on Wednesday night. The rapper joined a group of guys and girls for dinner, and they watched the NBA playoffs game in a private dining room.
"He seemed to be in a great mood, very animated as he watched the game and enjoyed plates of the restaurant’s food and drinks," an observer tells Us Weekly. "He was very relaxed, just hanging out."
Kylie and Tyga were first confirmed to be dating in February 2015, when Kanye West revealed their relationship status in a loaded Breakfast Club radio interview. The two split up in November 2015, right around the time of the "Rack City" rapper's 26th birthday. They subsequently got back together days later only to face a cheating scandal this past January.
Another source told Us Weekly on Wednesday that while the two are apart for now, they may reconcile down the line. "They fight and get back together all in the same day constantly, so last week she didn't want to say it was a breakup as that's how it always is,” the insider explained to Us. “We've been down this road before.”
