Still on cloud nine! Kym Johnson spoke exclusively with Us Weekly about her life as a newlywed with husband Robert Herjavec, whom she married this summer. According to the Dancing With the Stars pro, 40, life as Mrs. Herjavec is nothing less than stellar.
“It’s been amazing,” the Australian-born beauty told Us at the 2016 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 11. “It’s been the most incredible summer of my life.”
As previously reported, Johnson and the handsome Shark Tank star, 53, tied the knot at a romantic Los Angeles wedding ceremony on July 31. The pair first met and fell in love during their 2015 stint as partners on season 20 of DWTS.
Asked what the best part of their big day was, the ABC starlet replied, “The ceremony was amazing. I was most nervous about that, but that was the most beautiful moment. Even though our family and friends were all there, it was really just about Robert and I at that moment.
She added, “It was just us two, exchanging our vows, and that was the most special moment.”
Us also caught up with Herjavec at Sunday night’s event — he arrived separately with his Shark Tank costars — where he opened up about his ideal date night with his new bride.
“[We] love [watching] Ray Donovan and just chilling out,” the Croatia native shared with Us. “I’m obsessed with Ray Donovan right now.”
He jokingly continued: “Is that an ABC show? I mean, I’m obsessed with Dancing With the Stars! What was I thinking?! That’s what we do, and then we watch reruns of Shark Tank seasons.”
The investor turned TV personality was previously wed to Diane Plese, with whom he shares three children. They divorced in 2016. This is the first marriage for Johnson.
