Their kind of love! Lady Antebellum singer Charles Kelley and his wife, Cassie McConnell, announced on Friday, Aug. 7, that they are expecting their first child together.

The pregnant Mrs. Kelley broke the happy news on her lifestyle blog, Womanista, announcing her pregnancy in a post titled "Cassie and Charles are…" McConnell shared a sweet photo of herself and Kelley, 33, snuggling on a couch together, each holding a mug that reads "mother" and "father," respectively.

"Charles and I are SO BEYOND EXCITED to share with y’all that we are expecting a baby!" the mother-to-be wrote. "He or she is due in February and we are so happy we can hardly stand it. Like, ecstatic and I’m crying even as I type those words!"

This will be the first child for Kelley and McConnell, who tied the knot in June 2009. The country lovebirds have been together for nearly 10 years, and McConnell revealed in her blog that they had some trouble conceiving, finally getting pregnant this year.

"This journey to become a family of 3 has been a long, interesting, sometimes fun and sometimes heartbreaking road," the thirtysomething publicist and lifestyle blogger wrote. "We started trying to conceive our child a few years ago without any luck – many months went by with negative pregnancy tests and a lot of shared frustration… We went through several years of trying before finally seeing our fertility doctor in Nashville this past November. We answered lots of questions about family history and did lots of tests, some easy and some painful… [Our doctor] informed us that we had about a 1% chance of conceiving a child naturally. Yeah. 1%. As far as percentages go, that’s not awesome."

Despite the dismal odds, McConnell and Kelley kept a positive attitude and continued on with their lives, traveling the world as Lady Antebellum toured and focusing on growing their careers.

"We made a plan to regroup this fall and explore other options to expand our family. Then it happened," McConnell wrote. "I woke up one morning in June and there it was, a positive pregnancy test. I was in shock. Happy shock, but shock. Our baby decided to join our family in God’s time, which is always right."
