Great minds think alike! NBA player Lamar Odom and reality personality Brody Jenner happened to attend the same Golden Globes after party on Sunday, Jan. 12.
Though the two didn't mingle at the 1OAK Nightclub in West Hollywood, the event might have been a bit awkward, considering the celebs have one common link.
Odom, 34, recently split from Jenner's stepsister Khloe Kardashian after 4 years of marriage. The couple had been struggling for months following Odom's excessive drug and alcohol abuse and reports of cheating.
According to an eyewitness at Sunday night's event, the basketball star was announced on the mic by the DJ and seemed to be having a great time on the dance floor in his formal wear.
At one point Odom was holding a glass of champagne and toasted a friend, but chose not to drink the champagne. The athlete also posed for several photos with fans.
Jenner, 30, attended the party with several friends, and spent the night sipping beers and enjoying himself.
In the season 9 trailer for Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Jenner asks Kardashian about her marital problems.
"How is Lamar?" he asks, and when she shrugs in response, he replies, "Poor guy, poor you."
And though Kim Kardashian declares to Odom on the phone, "We are a ride or die family, no matter what happens, we're always here to support you," Khloe, 29, decided to file for divorce in December 2013.
