Lamar Odom Makes Desperate, Incoherent Calls to Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner Visits a Vineyard With Ben Flajnik on Keeping Up With the Kardashians
On the second night of the two-part Keeping Up With the Kardashians season 9 premiere, Khloe Kardashian is trying to work on her marriage with Lamar Odom. But when Odom's father Joe sends out a public message bashing the Kardashians, Lamar is distraught, moving him to call Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim to talk at length about it.
Lamar sounds a little worse for the wear, with his sentences drawn out and occasionally incoherent. The Kardashian women handle the situation calmly, assuring Lamar that the family is ready to support him.
But things seem to be spiraling downward for the NBA star, whose substance abuse problems are well known. When Khloe reminds him that he needs to be at her house the next afternoon or his lawyer will drop him as a client, Lamar responds, "That's the story of my life." Watch his incoherent rap about Khloe here.
So when her second eldest daughter Kim wasn't in the mood to go out and party with her certified bestie Jonathan Cheban, Jonathan and Kris decided to team up to have a little fun of their own.
Though they told Kim they were just going out to dinner together, the new partners in crime headed out to Sonoma, Calif. or as they called it, "wine country," to visit the vineyard of Jenner's close friend -- former Bachelor star Ben Flajnik, who had mentioned his love of wine on Jenner's talk show, Kris.
Us Weekly exclusively broke the news that Jenner and Flajnik had a fling this fall, but the E! show built up the awkward platonic friendship with Jenner and Cheban. At one point they signed up for a couples massage, and when the masseuses left the room, Cheban began rubbing Jenner's bare shoulders. He then leapt on top of her massage table, rolling all over her while only wearing his robe.
Though they attempted to pull the wool over Kim's eyes, the reality star does have an Instagram account and was able to see their post. She was angrily waiting when they returned home, bashing her friend and mother for lying to her. The 33-year-old mother of little Nori forgave them, but not before she buried her hands into Jenner's signature candy dishes, mixing up the contents of the just-refilled bowls. The ultimate revenge.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET on E!
