Video: Lamar Odom Receives Standing Ovation at Lakers-Mavericks Game in L.A.
Lamar Odom may be donning a Dallas Mavericks jersey these days, but that didn't matter to fans who packed the Staples Center Monday to watch him battle his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers.
Though Odom -- who was put into the game halfway through as a reserve -- couldn't help his team best the Lakers, the NBA superstar was still treated to a standing ovation from fans and former teammates alike.

"It was a little surreal walking into the building and a little surreal to be in here," Odom, 32, told reporters as he suited up in the visitors' locker room.
As celebs like Jack Nicholson looked on, Khloe Kardashian's husband was feted with a special video tribute during a timeout and a scoreboard message that read "THANKS for the memories LAMAR." (Watch a clip above)

"Such a proud wifey!" Kardashian, 27, tweeted after the game. "Had an amazing night! I was so touched by the love and support you all shared for my hubby! Thank you for showing such love!"
Traded to the Dallas Mavericks in mid-December, Odom and his wife have already made friends in their new locale.
"I will say this: Khloe's my favorite Kardashian," the Mavericks' head coach, Rick Carlisle, told the Dallas Morning News. "She's the coolest."

Tell Us What You Think
6Khloe is the only REAL Kardashian in my opinion, the one with warmth, heart and soul and who is giving. She is a better role model than her two older sisters. Kim is spoiled rotten and Kris is lucky he isn't married to her any longer, he was right, she isn't ready for another person (but her mom) in her life and Kourtney seems very cold and withdrawn.
Stand by your man comes to mind. Well done, both of you! feedthebirdstuppanceabag Love, Linda E Gorman
i have so much respect for him as a man and husband. I miss seeing him in a Lakers uniform but at least i got to see him in the parade after the Lakers won the championship. Much luv to you and KK from L.A.
