Lauren Conrad: I Disagree With Audrina's Mom

During her now-infamous drunken rant (for which she's since apologized), Audrina Patridge's mother called The Hills girls "tramps" and said that her daughter would fare better than Lauren Conrad, whom she called a "bitch."
But Lauren, 24, doesn't exactly see eye-to-eye with Mrs. Patridge, telling UsMagazine.com that she doesn't view Audrina, 25, as competition.

Asked Monday at the VH1 Save the Music Foundation Gala in NYC about Audrina's VH1 show, Lauren (who has her own MTV show in the works) told Us, "I think it's good for her. And no, I really don't think about it like that at all."

Asked if she had hurt feelings about Audrina's mom's rant, she told Us, "I really don't have a comment on that right now, thanks."

Lauren is too classy to comment. Audrina would still be a no-body if not for Lauren, wait a minute...she still is a no-body. Lauren has authored what 3 or 4 top selling books? Gone to design college, designed a line of clothes for Khols, and about to star in her second show. And has been with the same boyfriend for years...and does not go bar-hopping. Has more class in her pinky than Audrina's drunken fool of a mom. But Audrina sure CAN dance. She was robbed.

I beg to differ, Elsa. Lauren is as classy as they come. She never speaks poorly of anyone, refuses to comment on the antics of her co-stars (or anyone for that matter) and focuses on the empire she is building. She doesn't act like she's better than anyone, she simply holds herself to a higher standard than most. And she expects the same from those she chooses to associate with. And THAT is why her star is rising, while all her hangers-on have crashed and burned.
Lauren is not a classy lady...she judges people...and acts like she is better than others...when she is not

I think Lauren and Audrina aren't really friends anymore...Not like they got into a fight but they just went in different ways. I am sure they still are civil and get along well. But they're just running in different circles. Audrina has class. Lauren has class. Both will be succussful and they are just going and ending in different places.

I never seen The Hills, and only know of both girls from the tabloids, or entertainment shows. After seeing Audrina on Dancing With The Stars, I have a whole new respect for her. LC's Mother was drunk, therefore one must consider the source. I don't hold Audrina accountable for her Mom's stupidity. Lauren seems to have her head on straight. Good luck to them both. It's funny how reality stars get more attention than real Actors. Oh well a break is a break!

that was the wrong thing to say from audrina mom,but Im sure there is more to that,she will not say something just for the sake of it, maybe lc needs to finaly see she sometimes treat people wrongly and that has impact on the friendship,I dont understand how she can always be right on everything..but love them both lc and audrina
