Lauren Conrad: Guys "Cheated" on Me When I Was on The Hills
Shocking Hills flashback! Now older, wiser, and retired from reality TV, Lauren Conrad shares a painful truth about her time on MTV's hit series. "I knew back back then [that] I was being cheated on," she admits in the March issue of Seventeen magazine.

Conrad doesn't specify which of her past boyfriends (who have included Jason Wahler, Stephen Colletti and, briefly, Brody Jenner) were cheaters, but explains that she turned the other cheek. "I overlooked it."
Not any more. "The more confident me has come to the point where I've finally realized it's not something that everyone does. It's not okay to have your guy hook up with someone else. You deserve more."

Conrad, now 24, began dating My Boys actor Kyle Howard in 2008, while she was still filming The Hills -- and figured out how to keep the romance off of MTV's cameras. "By the time I had met Kyle, I had already perfected my 'double life,'" she explains. "There was my TV life and my real life."

Despite her much-scrutinized friendships with Heidi Montag, Audrina Patridge and other Hills stars, Conrad says that "Most of my closest friends were never on the show; my family was rarely on...It's not normal to put every part of your personal life on camera. You have to have something for yourself or you'll go crazy."

Now a writer and fashion designer, Conrad releases her second novel, Sweet Little Lies, this month; it's the follow-up to L.A. Candy, a book full of Hills-like characters, which was a #1 New York Times bestseller.

Have you seen her parents house? She is definitely not hurting for money. I wish people like her would give others a chance to make money....the ones who need it. Give a real author a chance....someone who has real talent, not just a famous name.
I wonder if her books are as boring as she is. If the whole cast were boring like Lauren, there wouldn't be any material for a show in the first place.
Lauren is so boring. I'm glad she's off the Hills. Her only role there was critisizing everybody and always playing the victim. Her part had become secondary; she was never at the center of developments. It was clear she had nothing to offer the show.
what makes me laugh...she is lecturing heidi about her choice on her boyfriend who eventually became her husband..Spencer might be a jerk but he loves heidi...i think lauren is jealous...you need to respect your friend and their way of living...laurel should focus on herslef and stop attracting losers
I think the fact she refuses to call out whoever did cheat on her shows how classy she is. She's a gorgeous woman, and I'm happy she got what appears to be a good guy. I cannot wait till I buy Sweet Little Lies.
Heidi looks like a freak - like the crazy cat lady. I can't believe she went through all of that plastic surgery in a lame attempt to get publicity for her album. Get it Heidi - NO ONE wants to hear you sing!!! Spencer probably bought the 1000 she sold! In a couple of years no one will know who she is. Pathetic.
She is so much classier than Franken-Barbie Heidi. She has a thriving career and Heidi just sells her freak show story to magazines for a living. Love Lauren!
