This little light of Lea's. Actress Lea Michele shared in a new interview that her late love, Cory Monteith, would have liked her current boyfriend, Matthew Paetz.

The Scream Queens star, 29, joined hosts Becca Tobin, Keltie Knight and Jac Vanek on PodcastOne's "Fempire" show, where they discussed her current relationship with Paetz and why she's opening up about finding love again after Monteith's tragic death in 2013.

Michele explained that sometimes people have a hard time accepting that she's moving forward with her life after Monteith fatally overdosed at age 31 from a combination of heroin and alcohol. At the time of his death, he was in a relationship with Michele, his longtime girlfriend and Glee costar.

"Over time, I post a picture, and it’s just a landslide of comments that talk about my past and bring that up," Michele said of her recent struggle. "I don’t think anyone is projecting hate, but at the end of the day  you should want to be the person that chooses to take that second to do something positive."

The star added that working in Hollywood was "really tough," and she is lucky to have Paetz's support. As previously reported by Us Weekly, Michele and Paetz met in June 2014 while filming her "On My Way" music video.

"We’ve stood by each other through anything that was thrown our way, and [Matt] is a such a great man that he would never really let anything like that ever crack our lovely little core that we've created," Michele told the "Fempire" hosts. "And, you know, he is also very respectful towards the person that I was with, and that, again, is something I love so much about him."

In fact, Monteith would've thought about the model in the same way. "I really know that Cory would love him too," Michele claimed. "And that’s all that we hold within our hearts, and so does everyone else in my life. Other people don’t know him, and they don't know my private life, so I understand that people are going to say whatever they are going to say. As long and he and I are good, my family’s good, my friends are good, that’s all that matters."
