Lea Michele Remembers ‘Glee’ on the ‘Unbelievable’ Seven-Year Anniversary of Its Debut

Don’t stop believing! Lea Michele posted a touching tribute on Instagram in honor of the seven-year anniversary of Glee’s debut on Thursday, May 19.

“#tbt 7 years ago.. It’s unbelievable how quickly time can go by,” she captioned the black-and-white throwback shot of the cast. “To think we aired 7 years ago today.. Found this photo from our Upfronts trip to NYC just days before the premiere. We were all so excited. We went around the table and each said something we loved about each other.”

She added, “No matter where we all are now.. I will always think back to this night. #glee.”

In the sweet pic, Michele, 29, poses with costar Heather Morris, while fellow castmates Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Mark Salling, Naya Rivera, Kevin McHale, Cory Monteith, Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Ushkowitz gathered around.

Michele, who is currently dating One Tree Hill alum Robert Buckley, was famously in a relationship with Monteith from 2009 until his untimely death in July 2013. Last month, she revealed a new “5” tattoo that she got in his honor. Monteith’s character, Finn Hudson, wore a No. 5 jersey while playing for the McKinley High School football team.

“I feel very, very, very lucky and grateful in my life right now, and that’s all that matters,” the actress, who currently stars on Scream Queens, told Entertainment Tonight at the Fox Upfronts in New York City on Monday, May 16.

Fox’s hit musical dramedy ended in 2015 after six seasons.
