Lopez is in labor! Leah Remini taped her BFF Jennifer Lopez right before she delivered her twins, Max and Emme, in 2008 — and she has proof. The King of Queens alum posted a throwback video from the milestone moment via Instagram on Monday, February 22.
Remini, 45, shared the grainy footage in honor of the kids’ 8th birthday. “8 years ago today, this happened @jlo @marcanthony @therealangelopagan we were so happy to be there then and now,” she captioned.
“#I’mGonnaDropThemOffAndYou’reGonnaPickEmUp,” she added. “#HappyBirthdayMax&Emme #coconuts.”
In the hilarious video, a pregnant Lopez is speaking with her then-husband, Marc Anthony, as they take a photo together before going to the hospital. Anthony, meanwhile, appears frazzled and can’t string his sentences together. Remini’s husband, Angelo Pagan, was also on hand.
Lopez, 46, and Anthony, 47, have remained amicable since ending their seven-year marriage in 2011. The divorce, however, was tough on the “I Luh Ya Papi” singer.
“[Marriage] was my biggest dream, and I really worked hard at it. We both did,” she told Vanity Fair in August 2011. “I am positive — determined to move forward with my life, bring up my babies, and do the best job I can as a mother, entertainer, and person. I now look forward to new challenges. I feel strong.” One year later, Lopez rebounded with choreographer Casper Smart, and the couple have been on-and-off ever since.
