LeAnn Rimes Undergoes Odd Surgery For a Hangnail
Wait, what? LeAnn Rimes revealed she had to have surgery for a hangnail on Monday, April 28.
The country singer took to Twitter to reveal the odd procedure, telling fans: "Seriously painful hang nail. About to have surgery at the derm. This is not going be very enjoyable!!"
Eddie Cibrian's wife then followed up with another tweet, letting her fans know she survived. "Omg, that hurt!" she shared, "Numbing shots on your fingers are no bueno! at least I don't feel any pain right now or my hand for that matter."
If left untreated, a torn hangnail may become tender and swollen, and infection may develop, requiring furthr medical attention.
The singer-actress appeared to be all better later in the day, getting back to work on new music. "Worked out arrangements 4 Xmas songs I'm recording tmrw w/ @darrellbrown SOOO excited about what we're creating for my Xmas project," she tweeted, along with a photo of the studio decorated with Christmas presents.
The stepmom also revealed her plans to make a healthy Chinese Chicken-Cabbage Salad with Peanut Sauce. "Easy yet yummy dinner … enjoying soon," she shared yet again, along with the link to the recipe.
