HOLY HELL! IT'S A FLIPPING GAME PEOPLE! gET OVER IT! OR TRY USING YOUR LIFE FOR SOMETHING REALLY WORTHWHILE. SO MANY DON'T REALIZE THESE SPORTS ARE JUST TO DISTRACT THE MASSES AND KEEP THEM FROM BEING INVOLVED IN IMPORTANT ISSUES - SUCH AS THEIR OWN LIVES! HERE'S AN IDEA - GO PLAY A SPORT RATHER THAN WATCH OTHERS DO IT ON TV. LIVE!

Lebron broke my heart on national television for an hour (not to mention all the weeks before that). Thanks you trader. I hope you never win a championship. No other "great" basketball player ever left their team so go F u ck yourself.

I'm sure we all had to make a job/career choice which may have caused turmoil. Should I take the job with more $ or the one with benefits? Should I stay @ the job with the crappy boss, but I like the location, or should I move out of State where there's better opportunities? I feel for him & I hope he made the BEST CHOICE for himself, family & fans regardless of where he is.

Lebron is a coward. He was my favorite basketball player. I feel like my favorite superhero, has joined forces with the enemy. He can no longer be my hero. He had a chance to win in Cleveland. He gave up, he didnt want to win in Cleveland. Instead of being a leader, he rather be a follower. Lebron is a punk.

LeBron would have stayed if Chris Bosh had signed with the Cavs like LeBron wanted, but he didn't, thus the move to Miami. He should have let the Cavs ownership know he was leaving before the announcement though at the very least, like he let Miami Heat ownership know he was going to sign with them before the announcement. There had to be a better way to let the Cavs fans know he was leaving, too.

People need to quit criticizing LeBron for being arrogant, egotistical, etc. The media did this. They hyped up LeBron and rode his jock since he was in high school. So all these nicknames and acronyms came from zealous reporters and media outlets who worshipped this man. He had more coverage as a teenager then most NBA stars have today. This wasn't his doing. So to fault him for it is ridiculous. This is a business and people switch jobs all the time...get over it. Cleveland goes back to being a sorry ass city once again.

Your're right, lumberjack. Basketball sucks. So does American Football. Talk about boring - a 4 second play followed by 45 seconds of standing around OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOSERS!!!!

  • July 09, 2010 - 3:22pm LunaC

@akf not really. I don't see your point. If you were Lebron James and you gave a franchise 7 years and got no where and still don't have a Championship Ring, What else was he suppose to do? He's going with a Team with other great players to fulfill that goal of his. Let's face it Lebron did not have anybody on Cleveland that was much help. It was a one man ball club. Besides all the players you named all have Rings!

  • July 09, 2010 - 3:21pm Lila

LeBron did more than his share in Cleveland for 7 years! That loser team owner Dan put the weight of winning a championship on LeBron's shoulders and gave him no supporting cast - period. He couldn't do it alone. Good for him and best of luck. Cleeveland fans were only LeBron fans, like another poster said. They are just mad because they now have ZERO hope of winning a championship and they know it. LeBron paid his dues, and he has done all he could for that loser team. He deserves a ring.

    Who cares. Its only basketball.

Lebron is a prodigious athlete, but an overrated basketball player. His game can stand much improvement. Kobe is the epitome of refinement, and killer instinct, out on the court. I'm not a fan of Bryant, but I must say he's one heck of a ball player. Lebron should take a leaf out of Kobe's book, and became an better all-around player. With that said, my favorite player in the league is D-Wade. I seriously love that guy. I want to see him get another ring, with or without Lebron James.

  • July 09, 2010 - 1:44pm akf

If you are from LA and Kobe did this, if you are from Miami and D Wade did this, if you are from Boston and Garnett did this, if you are from San Antonio and Dunn did this...shall I go on??? You all would be feeling the same way we Clevelanders do...

  • July 09, 2010 - 1:35pm Anna

GO LEBRON! YOU RULE! It's his career, not anyone elses. Who is going to support him or his family if he doesn't take advantage of every opportunity to secure his own financial future???? He had options to trade to another team cause he's a great player. It might not be that way in a few years.

  • July 09, 2010 - 1:25pm Robert

Either you people are 12 yrs old or just plain ignorant!! How can you speak so negatively about this man whom you worshiped just a few days ago; and his mom?? That was f#$%^! up. He dedicated so many years to you and played so tough for you all!! Damn. So immature. At least now he'll be real happy about his decision when he sees the real fans he had. lol

The biggest, most pressing LeBron James question of all: With everything that is happening in the world that REALLY matters, who gives a s _ _t?

  • July 09, 2010 - 12:36pm Danni

CONGRATS!!!!!to King James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade I hope you guys get a ring he/yall deserves it. To all the a**holes who think it about money....YOUR SOOO WRONG he is actually receiving less money going to Miami, and if it was about the $$$$ he would be in New York suckers......Lebron wants to accomplish the one thing alot of great sports players have not a CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE so The King did what he believe is best move for him not the world kudos Lebron I wish you much success in Miami but I doubt you will need it....the Heat have a powerhouse.... one more thing stay away from them money hungry gold digging homewrecking etc bimbos in Miami your woman Savanah is beautiful and great fit for you!!!!!!!!

  • July 09, 2010 - 12:30pm Cindy

Anything that receives this much hype can only end in failure.

  • July 09, 2010 - 12:28pm Robert

Lebron is not only an outstanding athlete, but a genuinely good person. He is extremely savyy and is doing what is best for him as any of us would have done. This is a business people. Get a life!

  • July 09, 2010 - 12:22pm Proud Of My City

Cleveland was strong before LeBron, and we'll be strong after LeBron.Wouldn't it be something if the Cavs win the title next year? I'm not mad that he left, but the way he did it was hurtful. And he thinks Wade & Bosh are his friends? Wait until he plays with them having to share the spotlight, he's going to see how quickly the tide will turn. but I do wish him the best in Miami. Go Cavs!!!

  • July 09, 2010 - 11:09am Julia Sugarbaker

I can't believe such a big deal was made over this announcement. As someone said, there is no possibility of failure here! What pressure!
