How cute are the future Mr. and Mrs. Brody? Nearly one month after news of their engagement broke, Adam Brody and fiancee Leighton Meester were photographed in public together for the first time. The spouses-to-be were spotted sharing a kiss at Cape Town International Airport in South Africa on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
A source confirmed to Us Weekly in November that the 27-year-old Gossip Girl actress and 33-year-old O.C. alum are engaged to be married. Us first reported last February that the Oranges and Life Partners costars were dating.
Meester and Brody packed on the PDA while making their way the through the airport on Tuesday. The stars seemed to be mixing business with pleasure as they reportedly traveled to Cape Town to film a TV commercial. Brody was photographed leaning in towards his bride-to-be to steal a smooch. The notoriously private couple tried to keep a low-profile behind hats and shades, but flashed big smiles towards each other.
Though her affection for Brody was more than evident, Meester kept her ring finger completely covered up. The That’s My Boy star hid her left hand behind her denim shirt and kept her arms crossed around photographers.
This will be the first marriage for both. Meester split from actor Aaron Himelstein back in 2012, while Brody was last dating director and screenwriter Lorene Scafaria in 2010.
