A whole lotta gown for a Girl! Lena Dunham went bold at the 2014 Emmy Awards on Monday, Aug. 25, walking the red carpet outside of Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre in a questionable loud ombre pink tiered number.
The Girls creator, 28, wore an outfit by Giambattista Valli consisting of a light pink short-sleeve blouse with a Peter Pan collar tucked into a voluminous skirt. The bottom half boasted tiers of pink fabric in an ombre pattern and a long train.
Dunham showed off her new 'do, wearing her freshly cropped platinum locks in a straight bob. For makeup she chose an even, matte face with black-rimmed eyes, accentuated brows, and a red lip.
The actress and writer attended the show on the arm of her boyfriend, Bleachers frontman and fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff. The musician, 30, was supporting Dunham at the event, as she was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Girls.
While Dunham has yet to win an Emmy, she was nominated in multiple categories for the 2013 and 2012 awards show, and previously took home a Golden Globe award for her work on Girls.
