Leo, is that you? Leonardo DiCaprio look-alike Roman Burtsev, who made headlines last month for his uncanny resemblance to the Oscar-nominated actor, shared a series of timely photos on Instagram of himself dressed up as the Revenant star.
Burtsev first rose to fame on January 14, when Russian news organization English Russia tweeted a photo of him with the caption, “We found Leo in Russian forces.” Fans immediately went wild, voicing their amusement on social media in an attempt to figure out who the mystery man was.
The Russian security guard and DiCaprio share many of the same features — blue eyes, a goatee and similar mouths — and he’s certainly taking advantage of it!
In dozens of photos on his account, the doppelgänger, who uses the Instagram handle @roman_sdicaprio, poses as several of DiCaprio’s biggest characters, including Jack Dawson from Titanic and Hugh Glass from The Revenant.
He even posted a pic that shows him holding a tiny Academy Award — perhaps a foreshadowing of things to come when DiCaprio, who has never won an Oscar, attends the awards show on February 28.
