Liam Hemsworth is bearded and brooding. The stone-faced star unveiled a noticeably scruffier look while leaving the Philippines on Wednesday, March 20. The 23-year-old Hunger Games actor had been in Manila to promote the clothing company Bench, which he began repping in the summer of 2012.
The actor had previously traveled to his home country of Australia, where he was seen surfing and spending time with his famous family members. Hemsworth's 20-year-old fiancee Miley Cyrus, meanwhile, subtly showed fans that she's once again wearing her engagement ring via Twitter on March 19; she had removed it two weeks prior, though she denied calling off their wedding.
Even so, the Last Song costars — who split up twice in 2010 — are going through a rough patch. The pair have not been spotted together since March 2, with Cyrus staying in the L.A. area while Hemsworth traveled Down Under; the Paranoia actor is expected to return to L.A. March 20.
After her self-imposed Twitter break, the "See You Again" singer has been laying down tracks for her upcoming album and rallying fans to sign a petition to ban horse-drawn carriages in New York City.
"You all made my mama and all the horses so happy," Cyrus tweeted March 19. "My fans really do come in handy."
