Looks like Lindsay Lohan doesn't have much of a future as a fashion designer.
Critics panned the actress, 23, after she showed her first collection as Ungaro's "artistic advisor" during Paris Fashion Week Sunday.

Women's Wear Daily called the runway looks -- which featured sequin-covered, heart-shaped pasties -- "an embarrassment.
"Lindsay, it's time to get serious about reviving the acting career," the reviewer wrote, adding that the audience watched the runway with "endless snickers and rolled eyes."

WWD's overall verdict? "Being a young, pretty, controversial woman who looks good in clothes and photo ops just isn't enough."

The clothes -- which also included a few dresses that appeared to be painted on -- left "several people in the audience aghast," reported The New York Times.
Said noted French art director Fabien Baron to the Times: "Call the fashion police!"

Dina can not help LL she is as much as a pill popping, coke snorting, alcohol guzzling wreck. She doesn't even care about Ali and all that she watches while Lilo is in Paris. I would never let my 16 year old daughter wear that short dress or go to Paris with someone like Lindsay!!!!!!
Danielle I saw it and it was lame. It looked like it was put together in 2 days. Arches was being polite and the audience had mouths open in complete shock. Not because of the clothes being beautiful in any way but the audacity of them even showing the pieces. Ungaro is known for evening wear and there was not one evening gown. FAIL FAIL FAIL
Lindsay needs some tough love from her self-proclaimed BFF Dina Lohan. Dina -- How about being a MOTHER to your dear daughter instead of pimping her out to make money for you as her manager? Her sisters should be helping her too. Just telling her people have it in for her and criticizing the fashion industry and fashion critics isn't helping her. I get that you love her and don't want her to feel like a failure, but it's way past time to bring her home and help her get her life together. She needs more than y'all defending her. She needs your HELP and honesty or you're doing nothing but enabling her and sitting on the sidelines when she might do something terrible to herself. Lindsay bombs at everything and bombs at life, her last movie didn't make it to DVD, just one showing on ABC Family, her on and off relationships with Samantha Ronson are abusive, she failed at rehab 3 times she can't work with others. Lindsay should just disappear from the public eye, but she is dependant on the paparazzi, she always demands attention.
I actually feel sorry for her. It seems like she is trying to get her life together and do something that makes her happy and it just didn't work out. This poor young woman didn't have a happy childhood, never knew what it was to be a regular teen, was a drug addict in her early adult life, and can't seem to find herself. I really hope she finds happiness, love, and success in whatever she decides to do in her next career venture. I also wish her the best of luck in maintaining her sobriety, which is a life long fight. To those who call her names her belittle her, I wonder how you would feel if this were your child or sister? We can all give our opinions without insults and it is actually a more adult and interesting way of discussing this or anything else.
