Lindsay Lohan Returns to L.A., Ordered to Appear in Court Monday

Lindsay Lohan arrived back in Los Angeles Saturday evening, two days after she missed a mandatory court appearance and claimed a stolen passport left her stranded at the Cannes Film Festival.
Lohan landed at Los Angeles International Airport around 7 p.m. on Saturday. A source tells UsMagazine.com the actress was still partying at a private villa in Cannes, France, at 4 a.m. local time, just hours before her flight was scheduled to depart.

Although an L.A. Superior Court judge issued a warrant for her arrest following Lohan's no-show at a Thursday DUI progress hearing, it was rescinded after the star posted a $10,000 bail bond.
The actress claims her estranged father Michael "had someone" steal her passport while she was partying at the film festival, preventing her departure. She had been in town to promote her role as porn star Linda Lovelace in Inferno.
Michael appeared during the Thursday hearing; his attorney, Lisa Bloom, asked the judge to send his daughter to rehab, not jail. "She needs treatment, and jail is not going to help her," Bloom told Us.

Lohan will appear at Los Angeles Superior Court Monday at 8:30 a.m. to determine if she violated the probation terms from her 2007 conviction. If so, she faces 180 days in jail.

34Why doesn't this worthless, old-looking hag just go away? There are so many talented actors without the ugly Lindsey baggage looking for work, why is anyone even considering this ungrateful thing? Make her serve time, perhaps that will be the only action that will make her wake up! She is a total 'has-been' ...boring...next please!
I once believed that Linsey Lohan was as worthless as an ice cube at an Eskimo party. However, I think that this is disparaging to the ice cube. Keep your nose clean and go to court. What is so hard about that. What a useless twit. She was given so much and just frittered it away. She has no career. She is out of luck. Soon even US Magazine won't care what she does or who she does it with.
Explain to me again, why she gets off as easily as she does ($$$$$$). If it were anyone else their sad a s s would be locked up in a jail or rehab. She will end up killing herself unless she is locked up. Her Mom is as bad as she is. I am sick of hearing about her.

it's time for lindsey to take responsibility for her actions and get her jail time done with, then to go to rehab afterwords. she, unfortunately, has 2 parents that enable her instead of acting like parents (who need 12 step programs themselves). get the help you all need
Lindsey is definitely screaming for help unfortunately, she is or will be 23 years old. Going into a Rehab program won't help her, going to prison will definitely give her the time to focus on herself, and how she is destroying her life, and inside her body. Lindsey really needs to focus on whatever is bothering her. The whole family needs to be ordered to attend some kind of program where they deal with family issues that destroy relationships. They need some kind of therapy!
the reason why these celebrities think they are above the law is because they get away with everything. It is due time we change the system. THIS GIRL NEEDS TO BE IN JAIL.

Of course she violated the terms of her probation!! The judge needs to throw this liar in jail, because she thinks that the laws don't apply to her, and that she above the law! Throw her in jail for a couple of months---a few weeks in the big house will do wonders for her. The judge tried the rehab route---obviously, it didn't work, so having her father's attorney "plead" to give her time in rehab instead of jail is ridiculous. This girl has been given too many chances already. She needs to be taught a hard lesson, I'm afraid. She has the gall to just outright disobey court orders, so the court should punish her for it.
The Lindsay's and Paris's of the world make a mockery of our legal system and make it look like the judges are paid off. How are we supposed to respect our lawmakers when the same laws don't apply to everyone? Lindsay Lohan may as well flipped the judge off by missing a MANDATORY court appearance and I'm sure there won't be any repercussions. I guess we'll see, but I won't be holding my breath...

I doubt she'll do any jail time. The judge needs to amp up her outpatient rehab, MAKE her attend classes on a weekly basis. She's already been to rehab 3 or 4 times, but look at her. She should also have a curfew too, be in at 9pm, that will keep her outta the spotlight, which she seems to love. Put her behind on house-arrest, why not
Mike, the penal system is not there to help her, they are there to punish her! Do you really think there arent millions of people in jail right now that would rather have gone to rehab?
Hopefully the judge sends her behind to a court ordered rehab or something! She needs HELP. I would love to see her make a comeback to movies. She's very talented... when she's not hung over or swinging from the chandeliers via bipolar or drugs or whatever!
Gee . . . she had to fly back on a commercial flight with all the other non-celebs -- just goes to show you what Hollywood thinks of her -- NO ONE CARES! Despite her pitiful letter asking for someone to get her home on a private jet, there obviously were no takers.

Wait a sec...WHO posted bail? She did? Um...no...that would be her lawyer! If we're lucky the judge will hear all about this and throw her in jail for the 180 days..with NO paparazzi. That would kill her more than anything! This girl likes the attention whether it's negative or positive. (has there ever been positive?)
The white dress is all frayed at the hem, did she cut it shorter, so she could look worse. Her travel agent could have helped with a temp passport to get her back in time for court, but of course she had appearances to make at parties, this girl needs a serious wake up call, will the Judge give it to her? Probably not, after all she isn't just a common citizen right?
This little girl is a last soul she needs help her father's trying to be a father but she dosen't want that but her mother i think can give a sh*it as to what's going on with her daughter she's to damn worried about herself how selfish it's clear lindsay's reaching out for someone to help her but know ones reach out to her and that is a SHAME i almost feel sorry for this POOR GIRL !!!
