On Wednesday, Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina and sister Ali popped by the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., where the actress, 24, is confined for at least the next two weeks for violating probation from her DUI case.

It is unknown if they actually saw her -- typically, visiting hours at the facility are on weekends for friends and family -- but Dina flashed a thumbs up to photographers as she left. She didn't talk to the pack of reporters.

Lindsay's incarceration has been particularly tough on 16-year-old Ali, dad Michael Lohan told Larry King Tuesday night. When Lindsay was handcuffed in court Tuesday, "Ali was a mess," he said.

Michael, who spent two-and-a-half years in the slammer after being charged with simple assault in 2005 and driving under the influence of alcohol, said he will visit Lindsay this weekend.

He said he is proud of his daughter for remaining so "strong" through it all.

Her mom is so pathetic and in denial..looks like she is on more drugs than Lindsay. No wonder the kid and family is so screwed up.

WTF happened to Dina Lohan?! Is this how she sets a "good" example to her "children?!" "Look at mommy, it's ok to be under weight and unhealthy as long as you're still making money and in the news." I feel bad for the two sons

We hope that Lindsay Lohan gets into the right treatment program asap. Addiction is a band-aid or a mask to hide a problem that a person may not want to address (even if it starts out as partying or from an injury), but the sooner they can get help, the better. While in treatment, they can focus completely on themselves, identify the core issues that lead to their addictions, and begin the healing process. And the longer a person can stay in treatment, they increase their chances of living a sober life (which is why Journey Healing Centers offers free Aftercare for Life so there is continuous support from a professional team). If you have any drug or alcohol addiction questions or want to get someone help, call our Free 24 hour hotline to speak with an Addiction Specialist: 1-866-774-5119

I'm so ANGRY that all of these celebrities get special treatmeant. It is complete BS!!! Once, they are inmates of a prison, they should be considered PRISONERS, like EVERYONE else!! But, that is never the case!! It's so frustrating!! The legal system should be appalled by this. She was sentenced to 3 months in jail and now it is ONLY 2 weeks!!! That is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! She should be treated just like a regular person, NOT a celebrity with money!!!! I mean, I love reading GOSSIP magazines and everything. And, reading all the rumor stories. But, this is different. I think that these freaking celebrities, who keep pushing the legal system and breaking it (Lindsay missing her alcohol classes, her alcohol monitor going off, serving only 84 minutes in jail before etc. etc.)(And Paris Hilton only spending MINUTES in jail, when it should have been whatever she was sentenced to.) Bottomline, the news kept going on and on about how they were making it a difference by finally laying down the law for Lindsay, when they DID NOT. The news continued to say, this judge is making an example out of Lindsay, being a celebrity, by having Lindsay get the 3 months jail time served, and it was complete BS!! She is getting special treatment ALREADY!! She gets different visitation rites than the other inmates, which is beyond messed up and to add to that she is now supposedly only serving 2 weeks in prison!!! Who knows if she will even spend the whole 2 weeks???? She should NOT be getting different rites, just because she is Lindsay Lohan. I am so fed up with the law NOT doing what they say they are going to do when it comes to celebrities!!! It is PATHETIC and beyond frustrating!! AM I just crazy or does anyone else feel the same way?? Am I the only one, who is upset by this??

I am just saying. This is crazy, that girl is in "jail"..she does not even half of her time, she is still rec'ing drugs in there and she has a tv, change of clothes and not around the public at all. What is "jail" again.. damn MONEY can buy you EVERYTHING, but common sense.

  • July 22, 2010 - 3:44pm Who cares

Her little sister needs to take note and not get into acting. She needs to be a normal kid. Lindsay is washed up and a dope addict.... Her family is very disfunctional and they love to tell US Weekly everything so we will get these stupid stories... Thanks

  • July 22, 2010 - 3:33pm Karen

She gets too much special treatment. The other inmates should protest.

Well, at least Ali is getting a glimpse to what her future will be like.

  • July 22, 2010 - 3:15pm Janeen

Why is it so convient for cleebrities to get out of jail faster because of "over crowding?" Why isn't that Alexis Neiers girl who is in the cell next to Lindsay getting out for "over crowding" doesn't make any sense.
