Breaking News: Lindsay Lohan's Probation Revoked, Warrant Issued for Arrest

Lindsay Lohan's probation has been revoked and a bench warrant has been issued for her arrest after she admitted failing a court-ordered random drug test stemming from her DUI case.
The bench warrant is being held until 8:30 a.m. Friday when the actress, 24, is due to appear in court.

In her Twitter statement Saturday, Lohan -- who was released from rehab Aug. 24 after serving nearly two weeks in jail -- said she is ready to face Superior Court Judge Elden Fox.
She could get 30 days behind bars.
Said the actress, "I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences."

31Actually I think punishment for most DUI cases are not as strict as it should be. There was a case out here in Cali where this man got arrested for, I believe, his 10th DUIs. He wasn't a celebrity and definitely wasn't rich. I've read about similar cases in other states too. The laws need to be reformed. With DUIs, it's a lot of people who get off, IMO, with a light sentence; It's not just celebrities and the rich.

ummmm now here is my surprised look :(. this girl needs some serious time she thinks she can use her celebrity status to get her out of trouble, i wonder who mommy dearest will blame this time. she needs to enroll in a 1 year facility and the judge needs to order her to stay away from her family and friends because they are her enablers especially mommy dearest.
What is it with celebrity's anyway? They get caught and then tapped on the wrist - or is it California in general? Is the California jail system and court system really that crappy that they don't even prosecute people anymore? Does anyone even know the meaning of rules anymore?
Sheesh - anybody else would get ONE chance - only ONE - then back in they would go - not after years of court and what not. She's getting popular just from all her screw ups, not from her real acting career - of which I don't see she has one, and the things she has been in, really haven't been that good. She is really starting to age, too. She looks rode hard and put up wet. If she can't do 90 days in rehab, then do jail for 90 days and see if she gets straightened out. For her, I suppose that would just mean that day 91 would mean PARRR-TAYYY! Cripes - go away Lohan - your a has been at such a young age. You had talent and you threw it all away.
Why is this news? I see that same headline for this chic every month. That's what happens when you get off easily.
I agree Doris. she don't have anyone to REALLY support her through this it seems. Most start drugs or drinking to avoid feeling things. Her "Father" has always been a sore spot for her since he went to and got out of jail so I am thinking that maybe she turned to drinking/drugs to avoid the feelings she had for her father not being there or being a REAL father..
She needs to enroll at a 90 day facility.
I actually kind of feel sorry for her. She doesn't seem to have anyone in her life giving her sound advice. Her parents are too busy trying to live the fabulous life through her to give a damn that she's spiraling out of control. She needs to be in some serious rehab at a 90 facility.
She really needs to get help and stay longer in rehab after her jail time.

If she was any of us, probation would be at her door the second the dirty results came in and off to jail she would go. But she's a famous actress.lol. so she gets time to rehearse her "I'm sorry, have pitty on me ," speech. Please, judge, give her around of applause and a year!!!

Theres such thing as partying, but if you get yourself into trouble, and you cant stay straight long enough to get on with it, then you either have a serious problem or you are as dumb as a box of rocks.. or both.

"The Lilo has landed" The law will not be as kind to her this time now that Lindsay has been confirmed in violation of her terms of probation. Celebrity treatment seems to be coming to an end for Lindsay, at least I hope so.
She is only taking responsibility for her actions because she got caught. She'll be back to her old antics in no time once this one has blown over. So yeah, she'll do her 10 minutes of jail time and then back to the clubbing she'll go. That's how serious she is about staying sober.
What a joke.....maybe if she got some REAL jail time it might make her think about her stupid actions!!And then again,she may just never see what her life could have been.
We'll see...this judge told her she will get 30 days for every failed drug test. Hopefully he'll hold her to it. Two visits to AA doesn't mean a thing...too little, way too late. If she were truly accepting responsibility, she would have checked into rehab the second those tests came back positive.
