Still hoping for a certain sextet to get back together for lattes, love and laughs at Central Perk?

The wait for a Friends reunion, sadly, might be forever.

Castmate Lisa Kudrow -- a.k.a. Phoebe -- broke the news to Usmagazine.com that "it doesn't look like" a reunion for the blockbuster NBC sitcom will ever happen.

See Lisa Kudrow -- and other 90s TV stars --  then and now

"Everyone is busy!" Kudrow explained at Sunday's P.S. Arts Express Yourself event in Santa Monica, Calif.

The biggest objectors, Kudrow suggests, aren't Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox or any of the actors, but the show's original writer-creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane. " I guess they don't think it's a good idea," she said.

Not that Kudrow, 46, is completely sold, either: "It would be fun, but I don't know. How? Why? Really?"

The highly-rated series -- its six regulars ended up making $1 million per episode by the finale -- ran from 1994 to 2004.

The next best thing to an all-out reunion is a Phoebe-Monica rematch: Kudrow recently shot an episode of Cougar Town, Cox's current ABC hit. "That was really fun!" Kudrow told Us. "God, Courteney is fantastic! She is so funny. I had such a fun time.”

Although Jennifer Aniston has yet to sign up for a Cougar Town appearance, she's slated to star in a similarly titled film, Pumas, Variety reported over the summer.

I think the writers were great! Whatever any of the actors did afterward may seem insignificant, but For the time, those were the best six actors for those particular characters. It Just Gos to show that actors and writers don't care about the fans anymore. Once they padded their pockets and rating started slipping everyone wanted to move on. Well I would love to see all seven of them reunited yes even Gunther maybe even Janice. Could friends have been any better?

A runion for those money grubbing spoiled brats? A million dollars every episode? Who in the world needs that much money, really? It's the WRITERS who made the show great. Just look and see what those so called stars HAVEN'T done since the show ended. They are just a great example of overpaid under talented young people (young then, anyway). Our teachers will never in their lives make that much money, our doctors don't make that much money, scientist don't but these doofuses who pretend like they're someone else deserve to make MILLIONS every time they step on the stage? That is so wrong! We all know that if Corney Cox hadn't married into the celeb family she did she would have never worked again. I couldn't be any sicker of hearing about Jennifer Anisten, her PR firm keeps her name in the news too much. Who cares what a middle aged former actor is doing every minute? She really can't act. That ship has sailed.

Rich Jen, I love going to the movies and I saw some great movies this year. I did not see Marley and Me at the movies but watched it at home though. It had nothing to do with Jen but only because I knew the ending would be bad and I do not want to cry in front of people at the movies. Sorry any animal dying makes me cry movie or not. I am not sure whose crap you are reading because this is the only site I had commented on. Shocker maybe there are others who think like me just as there are others who think like you. I have every right to comment on this article as do you but you just commented to attack me. So sad. I have seen some of Poor Jen's movies enough to know that she acts the same in them all. I did not see Management though but who did???? Have a great day

If jennifer anistons movies are such a flop, why do they keep hiring her to make movies? shes still a favorite of many people who still watch her movies, shes got alot of fans! including me!

aww I want a F.R.I.E.N.D.S reunion. I love that show.

  • November 17, 2009 - 12:04pm CJ

I don't think a reunion is a good idea either. I loved Friends but they are all getting way too old looking.

  • November 17, 2009 - 12:03pm Move on past the Jen, Brad, Ang stuff

It's time to stop the attacks on Jen, Brad, or Angelina. It's over people, you are only helping the tabloids sell magazines by keeping it going. Jen, Brad, and Angelina seem to have all moved on, when will the public? As far as Friends goes however, I loved and miss the show! I say bring on a reunion!

  • November 16, 2009 - 8:19pm Rich Jen

Poor Jen, Aren't you getting tired of writing the same old thing on every blog on the internet? I know I am getting tired of reading your same old crap. We all know that you have no idea if Jen acted better then the dog as you have never seen any of her movies. Do you even go to movies?

  • November 16, 2009 - 6:42pm Poor Jen

Oh no! What will Aniston do? Her movies are flops except for the dog one which I much say the dogs acted better then her
