The TLC star revealed back in December that she was battling a rare type of cancer, which doctors were treating with surgery and chemotherapy. "I am very fortunate as the prognosis is very good," the Houston-based neonatologist said in a statement at the time. "While there is never a good time to get news like this; getting it just as we are building our new family is tough in many ways . . . but being surrounded by the love of my husband and our two beautiful children is actually in many ways giving me the strength to fight it even stronger."

Arnold and her husband, Bill Klein, adopted son Will, 3, from China and daughter Zoey, 2, from India. The spouses documented their struggles to conceive on their reality show, The Little Couple, and announced in December that they would also be sharing Arnold's battle with cancer on camera.
