Louis Tomlinson broke his social media silence following his mom’s death in a post to Twitter on Saturday, December 10.

“All the support has been incredible! Let’s do this together tonight,” the former One Direction boy bander, 24, tweeted in reference to his much anticipated solo performance on The X Factor Saturday night.

He's set to debut "Just Hold On," a single with Steve Aoki that fans are speculating is about his mom.

On Friday, December 9, Tomlinson's stepfather, Dan Deakin, confirmed Johannah Deakin’s death to Us Weekly in a statement. “It is with immeasurable sadness that Deakin’s family said goodbye to Johannah in the early hours of Wednesday 7th December 2016,” he wrote. She was 42.

“Earlier this year, Johannah was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia that required immediate and continuous treatment,” he continued. “We respectfully request that the family are given time and space to grieve in private.”

In addition to Tomlinson, Johannah was mom of six other children — Lottie, 18, Félicité, 16, twins Daisy and Phoebe, 12, and twins Ernest and Doris, 2. Dan noted that Johannah was also “an incredibly proud grandmother” to Freddie, Tomlinson’s 10-month-old son with pal Briana Jungwirth.

Tomlinson’s pals offered their condolences upon the news of his mother’s death, including former bandmates Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan.

"@Louis_Tomlinson love you bro!" Malik, 23, wrote. "All of your family is in my prayers. proud of your strength and know your mum is too x."

“Very sad news,” Horan, 23, tweeted. “Louis I love you mate and I’m / all of us are here for you all the way. You mum was an incredible person.”

Payne, 23, also expressed his sympathies in a lengthy message. “Louis, I’m so sorry for you my brother my heart aches for you, just know I love you the same from a million miles away as I do right next to you. I’m always here for you through everything as you have been for me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this incredibly sad time I can’t begin to imagine what you are all going through. RIP Johanna you are forever in my thoughts.”

Tomlinson's ex Jungwirth also posted about Deakin's death on Saturday, writing a heartfelt note to her son's grandmother. "My heart aches. Every time I look at Freddie I see you in him Jay," she wrote. "I will always remember the times we shared and the talks we had. I looked up to you and sadly only knowing you for a short time, I aspired to be just like you in a mother to Freddie. I promise to share with him all of what I know of you including all of your beautiful attributes. We both loved you very much. You'll always stay close forever in our hearts."
