Philip Panzica, one half of the pair who made headlines last month after getting arrested for having sex on a Las Vegas Ferris wheel, was murdered in a Houston, Texas, carjacking, according to The Houston Chronicle. He was 27 years old.
The outlet reports that Panzica was shot in his fiancee’s car — as she witnessed the killing helplessly— after leaving the strip club where she works. Apparently, in the club’s parking lot, Panzica’s unidentified fiancée was met by two men, Bryant Watts and Arron Jones, who had spent time with Panzica in the club that night.
Watts and Jones led her to her car, where Panzica was already behind the wheel. Once inside the car, Watts, 28, pulled out a handgun and allegedly told Panzica to “come clean” before shooting him multiple times.
Watts and Jones, 31, reportedly dumped Panzica’s body on the side of the road before demanding that his fiancée give them all her cash and get out of the vehicle. Local news station ABC 13 reports that Watts and Jones have been arrested and charged with capital murder.
Panzica gained notoriety in February when surveillance cameras caught him and a 21-year-old (who was not his fiancée) named Chloe Scordianos copulating while riding Sin City’s famed High Roller Ferris wheel. The two were later taken into custody on felony charges of having sex in public.
After spending two nights in jail, Panzica’s fiancée bailed him out regardless of his indiscretions with another woman.
“We get up to the highest point, and we were like… We’re golden!” Panzica told WTVR at the time. “I was drunk as f–k. I was running around naked acting like a little kid again.”
