Man Who Hooked Up Elin and Tiger "Thought He Was a Better Guy"

Once upon a time, Elin Nordegren was a single nanny looking for love -- and then her boss, golf player Jesper Parnevik, introduced the Swedish woman to the world's richest athlete, Tiger Woods.

Parnevik told The Golf Channel Wednesday that, in light of Woods' adultery scandals, he regrets playing matchmaker.
"I would be especially sad about it since I'm kind of -- I really feel sorry for Elin," Parvenik said. "Since me and my wife were at fault for hooking her up with him."

The golfer says he misjudged Woods' character: "We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I would probably need to apologize to her."

Nordegren, now 29, began working for the Parveniks as a nanny in 2001. She and Woods married in 2004, and have two kids: Sam, 2, and son Charlie, 10 months.

I know Elin must hurt so much, poor girl!! However, the chick is going no where!! I am very much affiliated with the european way of life. With the exception of the US, most countries don't go crazy over stories like this. It does not overtake the media and I think even the swedish must be thinking, enough already!!
I to was married to a so called "sports figure" My husband left me and our kids for his "love of his life" Come to find out, there were many many many affairs that I didn't know about! These guys lifestyles make it easy to cheat. It just amazes me that they want these families and brag about their kids and wives, while they are cheating. It destroys families. My childrens lives will never be the same. I blame my ex for this but I also blame his new wife. She knew he was married and she thinks she is special because :he chose her over me) haha what a joke. Although you would like this to be a private family matter you are a celebrity athlete with that comes an expected set of high morals children look up to you and adults expect you to abide by your marriage vows.
