It's time for a Lopez getaway! Mario Lopez and his family celebrated the holidays in Mexico this year, and Us Weekly has the exclusive details. The family of four spent a week at the Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa in Puerto Vallarta, marking son Dominic's first Christmas and the Extra co-host's first wedding anniversary with wife Courtney.

"Mexico for Christmas! No white Christmas for the Lopez family, we're going tropical: surfing, kicking back and drinking and eating a lot!" Lopez, 40, told Us of the special vacation. "It's baby Nico's first Christmas and we're both on the same program - eating and sleeping a lot!" he said of his son, almost 3 months.

Mario, Courtney, Dominic and their daughter Gia, 3, were joined by Mario's sister, her husband and their four kids. During their time together, the group relaxed at the beach and pool, hiked, enjoyed water sports such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and celebrated the holiday with a special dinner on the beach.

The proud parents of two previously mentioned their plans to travel during a "Sip & See" party, where they officially introduced their new son to their relatives at Katsuya in Glendale, Calif on Nov. 17.

"We have a big family trip coming up a couple weeks after that. We're going to Mexico with all our family where we got married," Mario revealed to Us at the time. "It really goes by so quick!"
