Married at First Sight’s Jessica Castro: “Divorce Is Not in My Vocabulary”

Married at First Sight, Ryan De Nino and Jessica Castro
Jesssica Castro admits that "divorce is not in my vocabulary" amid allegations that her husband Ryan De Nino threatened to kill her.

Jessica Castro may want to reconsider her stance on divorce. Married at First Sight's Ryan De Nino allegedly threatened to kill his reality TV wife and is currently facing stalking and a litany of other charges, but one month ago, everything appeared copacetic with the couple.

"Divorce is not in my vocabulary," law firm receptionist Castro, 30, says on Married at First Sight's reunion episode, taped in May and airing Tuesday on A&E.

As a June 11 court filing from Castro indicates, however, the new bride learned quickly that she wouldn't have her intended happily ever after with De Nino, 29. "I will break you into f–king pieces," a petition filed in Queens Family Court quoted De Nino as saying in March. "I will break your dad into pieces. I will make your whole family disappear — and your f—ing dog-ass sister's boyfriend."

Followed by A&E cameras for six months after their December wedding, Castro and De Nino came together at May's reunion show taping to formally update viewers on their relationship. It was there, Castro alleged, that her groom said she would be "f–king dead" once they both returned back to their home state of New York. De Nino was wearing a live microphone when he uttered the threat, and once A&E's production team heard it, they offered Castro personal security.

On Monday's reunion episode, De Nino is confronted about cheating on his wife on Valentine's Day, allegations she reported in her court filing. The businessman is so caught off guard that he appears to walk off set after requesting a "break."

In the preview for Married at First Sight's reunion, De Nino sums up his quickie marriage as "a rollercoaster."

The newlyweds are expected in court on July 13, and in the meantime, Castro's attorney Marc Rapaport said his client is "considering all her legal options including potential claims against A&E."
