Megan Fox Battles Miley Cyrus for Worst Actress of '09

Megan Fox and Miley Cryus are facing off for an award that neither one of them probably wants to win.
Fox, 23 - star of Jennifer's Body and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - and Cyrus, 17 - star of Hannah Montana: The Movie - are both nominated for a Razzie, which celebrates the worst from Hollywood last year. Their "worst actress" competition: Beyonce (Obsessed); Sarah Jessica Parker (Did You Hear About the Morgans?) and Sandra Bullock (All About Steve), who is expected to nab an Oscar nod for The Blind Side.

Worst actor of 2009 nominees include all three Jonas Brothers for Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience; Will Ferrell (Land of the Lost); Oscar host Steve Martin (Pink Panther 2); Eddie Murphy (Imagine That) and John Travolta (Old Dogs).
Up for worst picture of 2009? All About Steve; G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra; Land of the Lost; Old Dogs; Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Because it's the Razzies' 30th anniversary year, awards also will be given to the worst filmmaking of the decade.
Worst Actor of the Decade nominees include Gigli star Ben Affleck, who's "won" two Razzies in his career; Norbit star Eddie Murphy, who has received two Razzies; two-time Razzie winner Mike Myers; Rob Schneider, winner" of one Razzie and Old Dogs star Travolta.

The Worst Actress of the Decade nominees: Glitter star Mariah Carey; Paris Hilton, "winner" of four Razzies; three-time Razzie "winner" Lindsay Lohan; Jennifer Lopez, who's received two Razzies and Madonna, "winner" of four Razzies.
2000's Battlefield Earth; 2001's Freddy Got Fingered; 2007's I Know Who Killed Me; and 2002's Swept Away are up for worst film of the decade.

um sheda i think you mean megan deserves the worst actress award. i think megan has a bad attitude too. she's a nasty human beimg, always dissing people and she tries to act to big for her shoes. she's not even THAT pretty, she's got a manly chin and jaw and teeny tiny eyes. she could never make it as a high fashion model (she's only 163cm), she can only model open mouthed and naked for men's mags. i cannot stand her
I think MILEY deserves the award. I can't stand Megan Fox's arrogant attitude and her dirty mouth. I still wonder why everyone still loves Megan Fox despite her MEAN attitude and UFLY mouth. Eew! Megan Fox is THE HOE, not Miley.
they're both good actresses. whoever wrote this article, is probably just jealous. they're both pretty and talented.
I hope Miley "wins". Her acting is just piles of sh!t. She can't act if her life depended on it. It's all fake. The only emotions she has are: Extreme super "lets make love" joy or snotty brat. There just IS nothing else. She's terrible. Megan at least TRIES even though she has the same "you owe me" look glued to her face.

...mk. megan fox is a god awful actress but miley cyrus is even worse. i admit i am 100% jealous of megan fox and it is for one reason and one reason only:she is ONLY famous because she is gorgeous. she's a terrible actress but a fantastic model. and the body is what sells. miley cyrus rolled together is everything i loathe about untalented celebrities: she is the daughter of a celebrity, she is a horrible actress and an even worse singer. being both i think i know how to judge but altogether this award is stupid.

I wonder why people are not as hard on crappy pop music as they are on crappy movies. All of these women are as good at acting as Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keyes, or Kings of Leon are at writing songs, yet all these artists won grammy's and are media darlings. It is probably because most people really don't know anything about music and I guess films are somehow easier to understand or something? I don't know, it confuses the heck out of me. And I am not saying those musicians are bad. They are good, but not great. Maybe people like the music because it is rammed down their throat, and they might hate these actors for the same reason?

Jennifer's body was freaking awesome. Megan fox was great in that movie. Who would you rather have in that role? Maybe you all just don't like the role, and if you don't know smack about horror movies, maybe you should become a professional movie critic cuz they also do not know anything. The only other movie I saw her in is Transformers and she was as good as anyone else in that movie, come on how is she a worst actor than everyone else in those movies? You all just want to hate and this Razzies BS is a reflection of that. This award is gross period.

Transformers has barely acting in it though all they do is run yell and that's basically it. Megan fox has potential. She's not that bad of an actress. We'll just see when her new movies come out (Jonah Hex, Passion Play, Transformers 3)
