Donna approves! Suits actress Sarah Rafferty briefly spoke about her costar Meghan Markle dating Prince Harry in a new interview.
“I don’t comment on my castmates’ personal lives, but of course, it’s very exciting,” Rafferty, 43, recently told the AP, according to Entertainment Tonight. “And I’m very happy for her.”
Rafferty and Markle, 35, have worked on the USA Network drama together since 2011. Rafferty plays Donna Paulsen, an executive assistant at Pearson Specter Litt, while Markle stars as paralegal Rachel Zane.
As previously reported, the cast wrapped filming on season 6 on Sunday. During her time off, Markle plans to spend time with the redheaded royal, 32. The two, who often FaceTime when apart, according to a source, will reunite following Prince Harry’s 14-day Caribbean tour.
“It will be a one-week trip,” a source told Us. “There are just a few details left to finalize.”
Markle and Prince Harry are getting quite serious. As Us Weekly exclusively revealed, the actress was introduced to Prince William and Duchess Kate during her most recent trip to London. (She’s met Prince Charles, too.)
“William met Meghan. They got on fabulously. I’m sure Harry had been looking forward to introducing his girlfriend,” a second insider told Us. A third noted: “Naturally, William is very happy for his brother.”
