Meghan McCain Slams Bristol Palin

Meghan McCain says it was rough being a talked-about political daughter during the Presidential election of 2008 -- especially alongside then-pregnant Bristol Palin.
McCain, 25, made a dig at Palin, 19, during a Thursday appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where she was promoting her new book about the campaign.

Lambasted at the time for her wild rep, John McCain's daughter said that she was sent to an "image consultant" for talking "bad," looking "like a stripper" and "hurting the campaign."
The presence of Bristol, pregnant daughter to her dad's running mate Sarah Palin, made it much worse, she said.

"When there's a pregnant teen there, it does a little bit to your self esteem," McCain admitted to Jon Stewart, suggesting that Bristol wasn't subject to the same kind of scrutiny.

Tripp, Bristol's son with ex Levi Johnston, was born in December 2008. Bristol will compete on the eleventh season of Dancing with the Stars, premiering Sept. 20.

Am I the only person who noticed Meghan isn't actually slamming Bristol Palin? She is clearly slamming the campaign team for giving her crap versus giving Bristol crap. Bristol can't help it if the campaign team treats Meghan worse than the pregnant teen, and that Meghan definitely isn't saying it is Bristol's fault. This report is as bad as high school gossip or the jersey shore's Angelina.
what is the problem with Meghan?...why does she hate so much...if you are going to attack Sarah...not the children...they did not ask to be in the limelight...i agree with Ms. Stewart...jealously
no fan of the palin's or their hypocrisy but this mccain chick is not much better. educated? um, maybe so but when I listen to her talk like a 12 year old valley girl I want to claw my eyes out. She sounds stupid and she does look like a stripper - for chubby chasers anyway.
i am not sure what bristol palin had to do with her sef esteem. I mean bristol was the pregnant teenager so i am sure her self esteem was affected. i sense jealousy??
Meghan McCain seems like some hysterical harpy who hopes to get attention by yapping about the Palins. What's her problem?

I'm tired of Bristol Palin being in the news like she done something significant like wrote a book. All she did was get KNOCKED UP at a young age. This is the image that the conservative ticket is trying to sell? Give me Meghan McCain anyday. An educated, accomplished young lady who actually has a future beyond the bill of good her mammy sold us.
