Mel Gibson Asks Ex if She Got Teeth "Fixed" After Alleged Fight

Mel Gibson's reported new text messages to Oksana Grigorieva, in which he begs for forgiveness and seems to acknowledge getting violent, are a world apart from the couple's terrifying, obscenity-filled phone tapes.
In a reported text exchange (on Radaronline) from January 7 -- the day after Grigorieva says Gibson chipped her teeth in a violent argument -- Gibson is contrite, nearly admitting that he lashed out physically.

"Oksana, I wasn't safe for you last night," Gibson's text reads.
"I spent two hours with a therapist today and have regained some perspective," the star, 54, continues, mentioning their daughter Lucia, now 8 months, and Sascha, Grigorieva's 9-year-old son with actor Timothy Dalton.
"[I] would like to come by and make amends to you, sascha and Lucia. I won't stay just let you say your peace and I'll say mine. Let me know if it's alright!"

As the Braveheart actor/director continues to plead, Grigorieva, 40, writes: "I have two broken front teeth and a concussion. I can not c u today, I'm hurting."
"Did you get them fixed yet?" Gibson replies about her chipped teeth.
"I need to see you this evening and then I promise I'll leave you alone for as long as you want...If only for 10 minutes. Please."

Radaronline reports that the text messages will be crucial evidence in the domestic violence investigation related to their January 6 brawl. A spokesperson for the LAPD sheriff's department also confirmed on Wednesday that it is looking into claims that Grigorieva attempted to extort Gibson.

Respect, credibility for Mel Gibson is gone and his career is finished all by his own hand. How very sad. He has many lessons to learn and needs to look inwards to be a better human being. He needs to be watched - is he strong enough to get through the damage done to him by him?
This is extremely common of abusers. There's this vicious cycle. The perpetrator assaults the victim, controls them, etc. Then they try to get in the victims good graces. They beg, plead, give gifts, say it won't happen again. The victim is manipulated & often loves the victimizer. Afer what is called the "honeymoon" period, the awful cycle starts again, never to end, until the victim elects to get help once & 4 all.
This man is a monster.
OG edited and altered the recordings. A real victim would have gone immediately to the police. She is lying. OG's false allegations are removing attention away from real cases and using taxpayer money that should be spent upon them. Mel's got his problems but Oksana is a manipulative, deceitful, destructive, slandering liar.
i think Oksana could have accessed Mel's phone and texted her phone to make Mel look bad. i don't believe this girl...I hope this ends soon and Mel would not be that destroyed by this woman. she's so evil making this all come out. she directed all juz to get Mel's money...it's so obvious ...

Also a little FYI the cell company used CAN and WILL pull up logs of EVERY text sent AND received if asked to do so by authorities OR by the person who hold the cell account. Even if we delete our text messages there is ALWAYS a log of our texts with the carrier. ALSO if you get a DETAILED CELL BILL EVERY MONTH than you WILL see EVERY call made to whom AND EVERY text message and who it was sent to or received from. MANY people keep their bills put away in a lock box after they are paid. I know I keep everything (paid bills attached to receipts) locked away so that I have proof I paid the bill and on time etc...
Getting into it with person one time does not make a person an abuser! Women call men names all the time, but that's okay.
I finally know who to blame for this fiasco: The 21st amendment to the constitution.
When I hear people say that they have text that are so many months old, I say who saves texts for that long. But it really isn't a matter of saving texts. I don't erase text messages right after I have received or sent them. Only when it crosses my mind do I think oh I need to delete my text history. So it can happen. I have had texts that were months old. However, I am sure though there are those people who might save a text or two just in case!
ps no matter what happens from this point. i will never ever view Mel Gibson the same way. i have NO respect for him at all. sad to say ...
it is sad.... heck i am not angry at Mel, just very very sad. obvious he needs help. no woman should ever be told that is all she is good for. he should be able to control his behavior and his mouth.
Question, how is it that the media is able to get ahold of his text messages, or did she link them to the public?

Abusive men (and women) hold a reign of terror over their spouses/children. Its hard to understand unless youâ??ve been there how screwed up it all gets.
