Melissa Rycroft: Bachelor's Vienna "Didn't Know Who I Was"

Guess Vienna Girardi wasn't a devoted Bachelor watcher before her own controversial starring turn.
When Girardi, 23, recently bumped into Melissa Rycroft -- famously dumped by Bachelor Jason Mesnick on-air in March 2009-- Girardi had no clue who she was.
"I just met her when I was picking out my Oscar dress," Rycroft, 26, told UsMagazine.com at Saturday's GBK and Healthytrim.com Luxury Gift Lounge in West Hollywood. "She was... getting dresses for some event she was going to...She didn't know who I was. I introduced myself to her."

Happily married to Tye Strickland since December, the Good Morning America correspondent won't pass judgment on Jake Pavelka's final rose recipient.
"I have learned that you can't judge somebody based on what you see on reality TV," she explained to Us. "If they say they are happy, you kind of have to take it and say, 'Ok, I trust you.' Honestly, none of us really know what its really like."

Rycroft also has a hands-off approach when it comes to the recent wedding of Mesnick and Molly Malaney (whom Mesnick ultimately picked to Rycroft's embarrassment during season 13). Did she check out the happy couple's wedding photos? "I didn't see any," Rycroft sniffed. "It's not a big priority."

But she added: "You always wish them well. You don't think about it everyday but you do...They got married, and you only hope that they are happy and that they stay happy."

Melissa need to get over herself. Not everyone is interested in her or wants to know who she is. Three words: Move on Melissa.
Melissa thinks shes "all that"! (hot stuff). Never was I so happy when Jason saw through her and picked up the pieces and went for Molly. They are a perfect match, God knew that and gave them a double rainbow on their big day! But of course in everyones life a little rain must fall.
i think the point people are missing is that vienna supposedly watched every bachelor season and yet didn't know who melissa was. vienna is a game player and jake will find that out for himself in the end. melissa has moved on and so has jason...jake will too.

Why would Melissa have to even say "she didn't know who I was?" What was the point of that? Couldn't she have said "I met Vienna today at the dress shop and introduced mself." This says a lot to me, and mainly it reeks of "EVERYone knows who I am." That may be mostly true, but now EVERYone finally knows that she is full of herself and was on the bachelor to "jumpstart her life" (her words in an interview). If people stlll continue to believe her made up personna, I don't understand it. Living in Dallas, there are many of us that already knew the "real" Melissa.

I like Melissa and I am still laughing out loud that it rained on Molly and Jason's wedding....actually it poured and so they should live happily ever after....for about a year or so. Hahaha...Jason!!

Melissa WHO? Why WOULD anyone know who she is? If she hadn't been on "Dancing", I wouldn't know who she was. She thinks everyone watches these fool Bachelor(ette), shows? I don't waste my time. The girl obviosuly has a HUGE ego and really shouldn't, she's nothing to look at and I couldn't stand her on Dancing. She had NO right to be there, she's a NOBODY, doesn't she get this?
