Michael Jackson was rushed to UCLA Medical Center Thursday.

Michael's father, Joe Jackson, confirmed his son has been taken to the emergency room but didn't know if he went into cardiac arrest, which TMZ and X17 are reporting.

"I am in Las Vegas, but yes, people in Los Angeles called me and are with Michael and tell me he was taken to the hospital," he tells E! News. "His mother is on her way to the hospital now to check in on him."

"I am not sure what's wrong. I am waiting to hear back from them," adds Joe.

TMZ reports that a 911 call came from his Holmby Hills home in L.A. shortly before 12:30 p.m. PT. Citing a source, the site says he "is in "really bad shape."

Quoting Capt. Steve Ruda with the Los Angeles Fire Department, The Los Angeles Times Jackson was not breathing when they arrived and that CPR was administered.

According to X17, more than 10 members of Michael's entourage arrived at the UCLA Medical Center just after 1 p.m. PST after following the ambulance. "They all got out of the SUVs in a panic and Michael was wheeled into the emergency room on a stretcher," the site reports. "There was definitely a sense of urgency and everyone looked worried."

Jackson is set to headline 50 sold-out shows at London's O2 Arena beginning in July, billed "This Is It" - his final London performances.
