Miley Cyrus: I'm Not a "Good Girl Gone Bad"
Miley Cyrus is, like, so misunderstood, y'all.
The former Disney Channel actress, now 18, tells Asia's Prestige magazine that while she isn't perfect, she's not a reckless wild child, either.

"People have very mixed opinions on me," Cyrus says. "I'm a great model, or I'm completely inappropriate for anyone under 13 and I'm very controversial. I don't know how I became this."
Perhaps it has something to do with her string of public missteps, beginning with a suggestive photo spread in Vanity Fair in 2008 and ending with a salvia scandal in late 2010.

"I'm not some crazy lady who's gone off the deep end, because I definitely haven't," Cyrus explains. "Every 18-year-old explores sexuality and experiments and tries things. For me there's no reason to change that."
In the article, Cyrus also recalls reading a magazine article that labeled her a "Good Girl Gone Bad," a title she doesn't feel she deserves.

"I was like, 'What the hell, man?' I stay in the house pretty much every day. I don't go out," she tells Prestige. "I've had the same boyfriend [Liam Hemsworth] for two years."

miley cyrus is a crap pot child who's brain needs checking up on and i think she is soo stupid. I don't care what she thinks if she reads this because its my opinion on her you idiot and if i ever meet her i will giver a peice of my mind to her stingy, big, fat face. And yah i am hating on her.
First thing I noticed is they photo shopped her tattoo off. Second of all, Salvia isn't a scandal, it's completely legal. She's doing way better for herself than Britney Spears, Amy Winehouse, LINDSAY LOHAN....
i agree with her. it's completely unreasonable for people to expect her to be "hannah montana" into her 20s. honestly, i don't think she's done anything extreme at all. the vanity fair cover, she only showed her back, and the salvia, it was her 18th birthday, it was a celebration, and it's legal, it's like a 21 year-old having a shot on their birthday. t's true, she's had 2 boyfriends, both long term, and liam she's been with for the longest time, unlike some of these celebs that we dub "good role models" like taylor swift who goes out with 30-year-olds and has a new boyfriend every other month getting used by half the guys in hollywood

She looks good n I never think of her as bad role model or rebellious teen or anything like that.. she is in the age of trying new stuff n lots of drama happen in her life.. It's natural for her (and any other teen outthere)..

However, I blame the media, paparazzi, and even the clothing industry for all of this. I wish clothes had never been invented. Then, it wouldn't matter what she wore because there wouldn't be anything to wear. Maybe this comment sounds dumb to most (if not all) of you out there, but I have to put this in. I'm a nudist.
An undeserved bad rap. People expect her to always be like Hannah Montana and are upset when she's not. Should she be like Hannah when she's 50? 60? When will people let her grow up? Is she 18 or 12, people? This upcoming November 23rd, she'll be 19. Remember that...19.
She is 18 yrs old, she makes her own money and she still is a teenager. She has the right to find herself and explore her image that she wants to portray to the world. I hope she doesn't go as far as Britney or Jamie Spears, those two I can't stand.
She looks terrific this way. What an improvement, with this hairdo, and sophisticated sexy in place of trashy sexy.
