Despite a recent claim to the contrary, Miley Cyrus did not contract swine flu, her rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.
According to KTLA.com, Cody Linley, Cyrus' friend and old costar from The Hannah Montana Show, said that Cyrus, 16, ran off stage during a Sept. 29 concert in Salt Lake City, Utah. "She just got really sick and she had to run off stage because things were just, like, on her heart too heavy."
"The next day she told me she had the swine flu," the actor continues.
"She did not have swine flu," Cyrus' rep tells Us.
Cyrus -- who rescheduled a recent Omaha, Nebraska concert due to illness -- is scheduled to perform in L.A. this Sunday.
Although Cyrus avoided the the HN1-1 virus, not all celebs have been so lucky: Harry Potter star Rupert Grint, Melissa Rycroft and Backstreet Boys' Brian Littrell have all survived bouts.
"I want to stress to people how easy it is to battle this flu when you take the proper steps such as seeking the care of a doctor," Melissa Rycroft recently told Us.
