What happens in Vegas, doesn’t always stay in Vegas. Former Miss Nevada USA winner Katherine Nicole Rees is once again making headlines for the wrong reasons. The beauty pageant alum, 30, was arrested on drug-related charges this week, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
This comes after Rees was already stripped of her title and crown in 2007 when racy photos surfaced of her at a Florida night club. She was also charged in 2008 with resisting arrest in Las Vegas.
The latest accusations surrounding the Nevada native are far more serious. New court documents claim that Rees allegedly sold meth in September and was later found with 5.3 grams of meth on her.
She allegedly conspired with “unknown co-conspirators.” On Wednesday, July 8, a $50,000 arrest warrant was issued for Rees.
In 2012, the former contestant pleaded guilty to one count of drug possession and prosecutors dismissed the drug paraphernalia and marijuana charge. She was ordered to complete a drug counseling program, which she did.
