Authorities told the site that Koppenhaver, 32, was unresponsive when an officer walked by his cell in Clark County Jail. He was sitting on the ground with his feet on his bunk bed. A piece of linen was placed around his neck, which was tied to the leg of the bed.

TMZ reports that suicide notes were found at the scene. He's currently on suicide watch and has been placed in a medical isolation cell.

Koppenhaver pleaded not guilty to 32 criminal charges last month, which included attempted murder, battery, strangulation, kidnapping, and sexual assault. His ex-girlfriend, porn star Christy Mack, claimed in August that Koppenhaver allegedly beat her and her friend Corey Thomas on Aug. 8.
