Name: Vincent Piazza

Occupation: Actor

Standard Style: "I don't go out on a limb," the Queens-born star of HBO's Boardwalk Empire says of his signature style. "I like to blend in wherever I find myself, so culture, venue and geography all play a part for me." Staples in his closet: A Paul Smith belt, a BDG V-neck top and MUJI socks, which are made from recycled fabric. "I fell for MUJI socks at their store in NYC's JFK airport and now I get them in bundles," he says.

Awesome Acquisitions: "I don't shop as much as I find," says Piazza, who names John Varvatos, Alexander McQueen and Billy Reid as his favorite designers. His most recent discovery? "A great pair of Kill City jeans at Urban Outfitters and a pretty amazing pair of Scarpe di Bianco handmade shoes."

Cool Costars: Piazza looks to his Boardwalk Empire cast for style inspiration. "I find friends and colleagues to be influential. Guys like Jack Huston and Charlie Cox," says Piazza. "And I think the show I'm on overall wields some great influence, mostly when dressing up."

Quote: "I think New York style is unique because there's something resourceful about it. Utilitarian. Whereas in Los Angeles, I find people make their cars a day closet. Which, I guess, is resourceful in a different way."
