Natalie Dormer Geeks Out Over George Miller and More Golden Globes 2016 Red Carpet Moments

Even celebrities get excited about running into their favorite stars on the red carpet. Natalie Dormer, Jason Schwartzman and Gaby Hoffmann stopped to chat with Us Weekly at the 2016 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 10, and Dormer, for one, had stars in her eyes.

Asked her favorite movie of the year, the Games of Thrones actress replied, “That’s a tough one. There are too many people on this carpet whose work I love and respect. I just saw George Miller, who directed Mad Max: Fury Road, and I loved that movie, so I was geeking out a little bit when I saw George.”

Mozart in the Jungle star Jason Schwartzman also looked forward to seeing a few of the night’s nominees. “I would like to see Paul Dano,” he told Us, adding that he’s “never seen Amy Schumer before in real life … [or] Leonardo DiCaprio.”

Transparent star Gaby Hoffmann, meanwhile, said it’s actually not all that glamorous on the red carpet. “It’s the end of the red carpet and I started to get angry, so I got a champagne,” she joked, laughing.
