She said yes! Nia Long is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Ime Udoka, a source close to the Boyz n the Hood star confirms to Us Weekly.
The 44-year-old Best Man Holiday star and Udoka, a former NBA player, have been dating for five years and are proud parents to a 3-year-old son named Kez. Long is also mom to a 14-year-old son named Massai from a previous relationship.
During a 2013 interview with Rolling Out, the actress opened up about being single in her 30s.
"I think that women who are extremely driven to success, ambitious, I think they get to a point in their lives where they're like, 'Uh oh. I am 30-something years old, and I don't have a husband and I don't have children yet and what does that mean?’” she told the mag.
"I think what it means is stay in your course because it's going to happen when it's supposed to happen. It doesn't happen for everyone at the same time, so you can't compare your life to someone else's.”
