Nick Gordon is now being accused of injecting Bobbi Kristina Brown with a fatal “toxic mixture,” new court documents obtained by Radar Online revealed on Friday, Oct. 9.

According to the document, which is in response to Gordon’s legal team’s efforts to stay the ongoing wrongful death lawsuit filed by Brown’s conservator Bedelia Hargrove, “Ms. Brown died due to a violent altercation with Defendant (Gordon) after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture."

The lawsuit, which was amended after Brown’s death and seeks $10 million in damages, accuses Gordon of giving Bobby Brown and the late Whiteny Houston’s daughter a “toxic cocktail rendering her unconscious.” There was no mention of an injection.

Bobbi Kristina died on July 26 at the age of 22 after being placed in a medically induced comma for nearly six months after she was found facedown and unconscious in a bathtub full of water in her home on Jan. 31.

Hargrove’s case also accuses Gordon of verbally and physically abusing [his girlfriend, as well as withdrawing funds from her accounts after her hospitalization.

The new documents note that “Bobbi Kristina Brown was physically abused by the Defendant on numerous occasions and later died following a particularly violent altercation with the Defendant which left her battered and bruised, with a tooth knocked out,” and that she was ultimately “fatally injured” at their shared Atlanta home.

Gordon’s lawyers have denied the claims of the alleged toxic cocktail and that he abused and stole from her. “The recent lawsuit against Nick is slanderous and meritless,” his attorney Jose Baez told USA Today at the time.

Following Hargrove’s lawsuit, Gordon’s team filed a stay of motion with the intent of ending of the civil case following news that the district attorney in Georgia was reportedly convening a secret grand jury with the intention of charging Gordon with murder.

Gordon’s team argues that while he potentially simultaneously faces criminal murder charges, “any statements made by Mr. Gordon in the civil case may incriminate Mr. Gordon in a criminal investigation,” and that since a judge has sealed the cause of Bobbi Kristina’s death, he’s “precluded and denied the use of exculpatory evidence that will come forward as a result of the criminal investigation.”

Gordon’s team also argues that because of Bobbi Kristina’s parents’ fame, “Mr. Gordon will be unfairly, legally, and financially prejudiced should he be subject to parallel criminal and civil proceedings.”

Gordon has maintained his innocence since Bobbi Kristina’s hospitalization, and following a bizarre interview with Dr. Phil prior to her death, checked into rehab.
