Nick Young, Iggy Azalea Subtly Confirm Engagement Status After His Cheating Scandal

First things first for this husband- and wife-to-be. After a video leaked last week of Nick Young admitting he cheated on his fiancée, Iggy Azalea, with multiple women, both stars very subtly confirmed in their respective ways that their engagement is still on.

Azalea, 25, opened up to Extra at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday, April 3, where she walked the red carpet still wearing her mega $500,000 engagement ring from the NBA star. The "Team" rapper was asked about her friendship with bestie Demi Lovato, who's been dating Wilmer Valderrama since 2011.

“Well, they’re like pretty much a married couple, so I don’t know what’s taking them so long,” Azalea dished to Extra at the Vegas event. "I really want to be her bridesmaid. I want us to, like, have a whole wedding thing together." That "whole wedding thing together" line could suggest that the Australian native is still planning her nuptials to Young, who proposed last June at his 30th birthday bash.

The Los Angeles Lakers player, meanwhile, retweeted a TMZ story on Monday, April 4, that read: "Gilbert Arenas — Nick & Iggy Are Still Getting' Hitched … And I'm Going to the Bachelor Party!!" Young quickly unretweeted TMZ's post, but the evidence still exists.

The drama began last week after a video privately recorded by Young's Lakers teammate, rookie point guard D'Angelo Russell, mysteriously appeared online. In it, Young allegedly boasted to his teammate about hooking up with a 19-year-old and other transgressions. How the clip exactly surfaced on the web still remains unclear, but the situation resulted in a huge rift among the players.

"I think it’s best me and D’Angelo handle our situation in a private manner," Young said in a subsequent statement. "It’s something we need to talk about. What happened is what happened. We’ve got to work on it."

Russell, meanwhile, told reporters that he felt responsible for jeopardizing his teammate's engagement. "Honestly, I do," the 20-year-old said of the burden. "I've always been known as a guy that plays around a lot, and he has been, too."

Young has yet to publicly accept Russell's many apologies.
