Safari for two, please! After a fairy tale wedding at London’s Kensington Palace on July 10, Nicky Hilton and her new husband, James Rothschild, set out for someplace a little less posh. The newlyweds are currently on their honeymoon in Botswana — and from the looks of the picture Hilton posted to Instagram, it’s quite the wild ride.
On Tuesday, July 14, the 365 Style author shared a snap of herself casually observing an elephant in its natural habitat. Flashing her new wedding ring but dressed down in leggings, a flannel shirt, a straw hat, and tan Timbaland work boots, Hilton sits in a vehicle with her feet propped up, as the majestic mammal grazes nearby.
“Honeymoon adventures,” she captioned the photo.
As previously reported, the socialite, 31, exchanged vows with Rothschild, a banking heir, at the Orangery in Kensington Palace Gardens on Friday evening. The bride wore a gorgeous white-lace Valentino gown for the occasion, topping her sleek blonde hair with a sheer, delicate veil and walking down the aisle in a pair of custom Christian Louboutins, which had her wedding date and the words “Mrs. Rothschild” embroidered on them.
Her sister, Paris, served as a bridesmaid, donning a Cinderella-esque blue dress with a glittery belt and matching heels.
Guests at the elegant affair included Kate Beckinsale and Chelsea Clinton, whose husband, Marc Mezvinsky, is friends with the groom. Not in attendance? The bride’s younger brother Conrad, aunt Kim Richards, and uncle Mauricio Umansky.
