Cool chick! Nina Dobrev proved she’s one smooth operator on Tuesday, Aug. 5, showing off her beer pong skills against competitor Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.
The 25-year-old The Vampire Diaries star, who played varsity volleyball at Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts in Ontario, Canada, put her old sporting skills to good use during a game of giant beer pong on the hit NBC show.
Initially, Dobrev’s ball-shooting skills were slightly off the mark, meaning Fallon crept into the lead, and the stylish actress was forced to chug two cups of beer.
But after protesting her lack of taste for the drink, and admitting she felt “drunk,” Dobrev clicked into gear and not only caught up, but then beat Fallon in the deciding round.
Dobrev, who wore a black dress with gold detailing on the show, had already shown herself to be a good sport earlier this week when she spoke to the Huffington Post about the constant speculation regarding her love life.
“I laugh at it at this point,” she told the news outlet. “Honestly, I need to get a steady boyfriend so people can stop speculating! It’s getting annoying to have to like, text all my friends. I have a lot of girlfriends, they’re all texting me at once [and] it’s just like, my thumbs are starting to hurt!”
